March 20, 2010: Soccer Jamboree

The WCB 2010 Soccer Jamboree, on March 20, 2010, brought 350 Individuals together for a fun day of soccer. Playing in the tournament were 48 Teams from Dorchester, Roxbury, Revere, Saugus, Jamaica Plain, Brockton, and even Martha’s Vineyard, in a multicultural, multilingual mix of kids, parents, coaches and enthusiastic volunteers. The event brought the ideals of World Cup Boston to life: soccer players of various cultural and linguistic backgrounds playing each other and participating in fun games and activities with the rest of the community.
