The World Cup Boston 2010 Service Learning Day was held on Saturday, April 24th. A team of over 200 volunteers worked to transform two spaces in Dorchester, laying sod at Harambee Field and creating a park and playground for the residents of Grove Hall. It was an inspiring day of service, coupled with cultural workshops, soccer, food, and much more, which called upon the support of many individuals, organizations, and communities.
