June 26, 2010: Mini Youth Soccer World Cup

On Saturday, June 26, teams from all over Boston met at Moakley Field for a sunny day of soccer. The 12 teams, from Dorchester, Roxbury, East Boston, Jamaica Plain, Charlestown, Dedham, Everett, and Revere were friendly, respectful and enthusiastic. It was an enjoyable day for all involved. The winning teams, Dorchester Force (U10), Deportivo (U12), and Only N America (HS) received special T-shirts and the winning coaches received replica of the trophy awarded at the FIFA World Cup.
